In some cases, an ebook may be hosted in the library catalog. Depending on the license, the number of simultaneous users and the ability to download are restricted. To access a pdf book:
1. Search for the title in the library catalog.
2. Find your title in the brief results and click.
3. Sign on to your library account under "View Online." Any usage restrictions will be noted here.
4. You will be prompted to log in.
5. Once you've logged in, you will return to the "View Online" screen. Click on the file, and you will be taken to the pdf of your book.
Please note that your session may be timed. Information on remaining session time can be found in the top right corner of the gray title bar. If no one is waiting for the book, you will be offered the option to renew your session.
If you are done with the book before your session expires, please click the "Return Early" button so that the book is available to others.
If another user has "checked out" a limited-user digital book, you will be notified.
If you like, you can join the waitlist. A notification email with a link to the book will be sent once the book is available again. You'll have 10 minutes to respond before the book is released to other users.
