Databases at PSU

A select list of databases available at PSU. For a complete list visit PSU Library's Databases page. When attempting to retrieve full-text articles, click on the Find it at PSU button. From off campus you will be asked to login with your ODIN account to access these databases. You may also wish to view the Community Health research guide for further database suggestions.

Data Sources at PSU

ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research) 
Vast archive of social science data, including aging, child care, criminal justice, demography, education, political science, public and mental health, and sociology.

Social Explorer
Contains over 18,000 maps, hundreds of profile reports, 40 billion data elements, 335,000 variables, and 220 years of data. Interactive mapping and reporting tools let users create maps and reports from U.S. Census data and other demographic data sets.

State Stats
Contains state-level historical data for the areas of agriculture, crime and law enforcement, defense, economy, education, employment and labor, energy & environment, geography, government finances, health, households and housing, population, social welfare, and transportation.

OECD iLibrary
OECD's Online Library of Statistical Databases, Books and Periodicals. This is the replacement of SourceOECD.
