Using the OHSU Library

OHSU LogoThe OHSU Library is located in the Biomedical Information Communication Center (BICC) building on the OHSU Marquam Hill campus. Enter the building on the street level (2nd floor) or bridge level (4th floor) and go up or down to the main Library entrance on the 3rd floor.

Students matriculated in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health through OHSU already have access from off-campus to databases using their OHSU network login credentials. Students matriculated in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health through PSU will need to pass OHSU's required background check, which costs $50, in order to obtain an OHSU network login that allows for off-campus access to OHSU Library resources.

Students may always contact the OHSU Library for research help. This form is monitored Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Using computers at OHSU

Students matriculated in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health may use any of the computer stations located in the library using their OHSU network IDs and passwords.

Wireless is available in the library. No login is needed to access the wireless in the OHSU Library.

Printing is available at the OHSU Library. Black and white printing costs students and the public $0.10 a page. Color printing costs $0.50 a page.

Visitors to the OHSU Library may use one of the public access computing stations to access library databases. Visitors may also connect to wireless internet in the library. 

Using the PSU Library

The PSU Library is located on the park blocks of PSU's campus

Students matriculated in the OR-MPH program through PSU use their student IDs and ODIN account credentials to access library resources. 

Students may always ask a librarian for research help and may choose to attend any number of workshops offered by the library.

Using Computers at PSU

Monitor and Tower UnitStudents matriculated in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health through PSU may use any of the campus computer labs.

Library computing services also includes a laptop check out program. Students will need to use their ODIN accounts to log in to campus computers, as well as to access library resources from off-campus.

Visitors to PSU may access PSU's Guest Wi-Fi network. Accounts created on this network will be active for 24 hours.

Printing in both color and black and white is available to PSU matriculated students. Students may print up to 500 pages a term for free. Subsequent pages cost $0.025 cents a piece.

Visitors to the PSU Library may use any of the Research Kiosk computer stations to access library databases and resources. These general access computer stations are connected to a black and white printer. The cost for printing per page is $0.10 a page. For assistance please visit the library's 2nd floor reference desk.
