If you are using Permalinks such as for readings in Sakai or on websites, old links will be redirected automatically and will work after the upgrade to the new Library Search system. However, it'd be better to update old links to new links in Sakai or on websites. Since My Favorites (Saved Records) are automatically migrated to your account in the new system, we suggest you:
- Before June 22nd, 2022, save each current permalink record to the My Favorites menu for easy re-capture after the upgrade on June 22nd, 2022.
- Find the records in the current Library Search and Sign into your Library Account in the top right.
- Save into My Favorites (the push pin icon).
- After June 22nd, 2022, retrieve permalinks for each record in the new system, and update them in Sakai by following these steps:
- Go to the new improved Library Search
- Go to My Favorites , and under Saved Records tab, select permalink icon for each record to generate new links
- Update old links to new links in Sakai or on websites
- The Saved Records tab allows you export records individually or in bulk to various systems, devices, and formats (see Exporting Records from Library Search)
